Every young athlete needs to start somewhere and our Genesis program will get them acclimated to sports performance training in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. The ugly truth in our great Country is that our competitive nature as Americans has gotten the best of us in regards to youth sports. Priorities and expectations have gotten way out of line and if you don’t agree with that statement then you’re likely part of the problem. Do the research and you’ll quickly realize young athletes have never been at a greater risk of overuse injury from early specialization as well as burnout from overreaching “win at all costs” mentalities that severely hinders their chance of success and fulfillment.
Furthermore, when you educate yourself on proper training protocols for children it’s crazy to think that a myth that dates back decades, and has been scientifically disproven, is a main driving force behind kids waiting until they are older to do any type of training outside their sport. Enlightened people who have educated themselves on proper training protocols for children realize the amazing benefits, that are harder to see at times, but remarkable none the less. Kids don’t have the physical maturity to gain noticeable muscle fiber hypertophy but they can definitely gain strength that comes from better neuromuscular coordination. They can also improve their performance through better motor control and kinesthetic awareness which is the result of being taught primal movement patterns with precision. We could literally go on and on but the biggest thing we hear from parents all the time is the added confidence their young athlete carries themselves with. Confidence is an intangible characteristic of every elite athlete and it’s crucial to success in sport and life. The positive, hover parent free, atmosphere in our gym fosters and develops confidence in our young athletes which is priceless in itself.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS: GENESIS
We offer flexible month-to-month memberships after a three month initial enrollment that we require of all new athletes. It takes a commitment of at least 12 weeks for a young athlete to see substantial improvement in all areas mentioned above and ensuring these results is what has driven our success. We also realize kids need time to retain the things we work hard to teach and it all pays off in the long run. Once an athlete has completed their initial three months, they are welcome to come and go as they please, as their schedule allows. Payment options are flexible and most of our clients choose to pay in monthly installments versus big chunks at once.
2 COACHED SESSIONS PER WEEK – $99/MONTH
(BREAKS DOWN TO ONLY $12.50 PER SESSION)
The two session per week package is for young athletes who have a lot going on but still realize the importance of training outside their sport in order to improve performance and prevent injury. It’s not easy to fit sessions in at all times but definitely worth it while ingraining consistent work habits for years to come.
3 COACHED SESSIONS PER WEEK – $129/MONTH
(BREAKS DOWN TO ONLY $11 PER SESSION)
The three session per week package is for young athletes who have a little more time to dedicate to training with us. It tends to work for kids with a true offseason and is ideal for athletes looking to gain results as fast as possible. Our Genesis athletes are always welcome to change memberships monthly depending on what their schedule allows for.
